Office Party Polish Pick: G+L's "Investment Piece"

Do away with nude nails for now, and stroll into the office holiday party ready to mix and mingle with the power player you've been meaning to connect with--wearing a stand out color! Of all the the pretty hand paints played in, Ginger + Liz "Investment Piece" ($12) stood out for its grown-up take on pink, a shimmer that's not overpowering and offers more than a hint of gold. I also love that this polish is "vegan-friendly" and does not contain harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, toluene or DBP.

Making us happy with rich hues and zero hazard is the Ginger + Liz brand reason for being.

Check out a few colors our top pick went up against that I still had lots of fun with. You just may want to add these to your collection anyway, or stuff into your boss' Christmas stocking.

It was the gold tone of "The Next CEO" by Nicole that got me, but mostly the name did it for me! Who wouldn't feel empowered wearing this?

I could not resist that "Snow Globe" by China Glaze is really two-in-one.Wear this almost-clear polish alone, and enjoy the rainbow of colors bounce off the light. Or, add a little sparkle to your all-time favorite hue this season.

"It's MY Year" by OPI, part of the Miss Universe 2011 Collection, is the attitude to go into 2012 with, making this color perfect for bringin in the new year wearing! Fans of purple will love this twist on their classic fav because of the coppery reflects.
